From the moment you walk through the gate to Villa Busovina B & B you are welcomed with a great warmth. Mr Rastko and Slavica welcome you as though you are close friends. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room had the most amazing view, looking out over the old city and the ocean , the room was LARGE, the... more

From our first email to Rastko and Slavica, the service we received was 5 star. I would recommend this accommodation for that reason alone. They are lovely people who will do everything they can to ensure your visit is as good as it can be. However, there are many other reasons to choose this villa. The position close to the... more

We originally planned to only stay a couple of days in Dubrovnik and then move to one of the other islands but my mum and I enjoyed our stay at Villa Busovina so much we ended up spending the whole holiday there and used Dubrovnik as a base for day trips. The highlights in no particular order: Slavica & Rastko... more

We loved Villa Busovina. It's located in a residential area high up in the hills behind the old town. It's so quiet and peaceful, it's hard to believe that you're less than 10 minutes' walk to the city gates. OK, so it's a slightly knackering 20 mins' walk back up, but you (almost) get used to that. Rastko, the owner,... more

The best thing about the Busovina is the people - Rastko is a mine of information and unstintingly helpful. The location is superb, provided you can manage the 221 steps up from the old town, and the views from the breakfast terrace are great. Our room was excellent, really large with the biggest double bed we've ever slept in. The... more

As mentioned on the other traveler's reviews, Slavica & Rastko are exceptional hosts. They made us feel at home while we spent part of our honeymoon at the Villa Busovina, and bent over backwards to ensure that our trip to Dubrovnik was pleasant and relaxed. The second half of our trip we spent at the Dubrovnik Palace, and while it... more

Slavica & Rastko are friendly and charming hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We were picked up from the airport, our cases were carried to our rooms for us, and there was a welcome cold drink inside the beautifully appointed rooms. Rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, light and airy, with lots of storage and comfortable beds, air conditioning... more

My husband & I stayed here while we were on our honeymoon. Our room was spacious & tasefully decorated, we had a beautiful view of the city & the Sea. We had use of the garden and the terrace which was lovingly taken care of. We were within a short walking distance to all local facilities. The owners of the... more

We have spent longer weekend at Villa Busovina ... Booking via e-mail was without any problem. We have decided for Superior Room, which has direct sea view and side view on the city walls. Rastko picked us by his car at the stop on the busroute from Dubrovnik Airport, which was very convenient because of midnight time. Later we found... more

My wife and I stayed at Villa Busovina for 4 nights this past July and were blown away by the accommodations. If you are going to Dubrovnik, then you must stay here. The sobe sits atop a hill over-looking Old Town providing majestic views in a peaceful setting. It is a mere 5-minute walk from Old Town. Housed in a... more
