We were referred to Ivana Raic’s apartments by Pero at the Villa Ragusa as he did not have availability for the dates we wanted.

Ivana and her family have converted the entire house (3 apartments/rooms in total I believe) which is very well located in a quiet alleyway just 58 steps up from the main square inside the city walls. The rooms were spotless, cleaned every other day, brand new with aircon, satellite TV and a window with a clothes-line, excellent if you need to do a bit of small washing or hang your beach gear out to dry.
Ivana had arranged a taxi from the airport and met us at the city gate to escort us straight to the apartment. She then brought us a brandy and spent a while going over some of the things to see and do in Dubrovnik – her recommendations on restaurants were particularly useful. Ivana and her sister are long time residents of Dubrovnik and both speak very good English.
