There is an advertising slogan in the UK which promotes paints and varnishes by saying that they do “exactly what it says on the tin”. This philosophy would perfectly sum up this small and reasonably priced (for Dubrovnik!) hotel in the Lapad area between the Post Office and the small beach. Our reservation at Hotel Aquarius was made fairly late on, and was based largely on it's competitive nightly rate when comparing with other Dubrovnik hotels. A good little hotel, friendly staff, good sized room with a nice view. Good value with a nice lobby, large and well-appointed room, and modern bathroom. The furnished balconies and front garden were great for relaxing and free Internet in the lobby was a perk.
