Were upgraded as we arrived. Mentioned our wedding anniverisary and a bottle of champagne and choclate cake arrived. Staff were friendly especially on reception.Location fantastic as long as you didn't mind being as far away from the old town. Bus service was fantastic - right outside and frequent. Not a cheap hoiday food and drink wise and food lacked imagination. That... more

we had booked sea view rooms but as we didn't get rooms facing the sea we believed we didn't get the correct rooms. We complained to Reception Manager who advised that our rooms were classed as sea view, however, we were the guests and if we didn't believe we had sea view then we were right! What could she offer... more

As others have stated on the site, we were upgraded on arrival from the Neptun to the Ariston. What a great start to the holiday, and thanks to the hotel, who didn't make a big deal of it. The suite in the Ariston was a dream, with what must be one of the best views on the Croation riviera. Location... more

I booked two rooms at the Hotel Neptun and was able to get upgraded on check-in to the more modern Hotel Arison (they're all part of the same complex). In terms of location, it's not next to the old city but it really depends what you're looking for. By staying here, you get access to their private beach (which is... more

The whole complex is superb. Breakfast and is fantastic and if you use the onsite resturant and get there early you can get the best table in the corner and see... more

Stayed at Importanne Suites for 3 nights and found the location to be quite ok. Nice suite with plenty of room for two adults and two children, under 10 years old. Good main bed with a too hard bed sofa in the other room. Nice sea side area to enjoy, although the children must be able to swim to swim... more

myself and two family members stayed at the importanne resort in june of 2008. I must say that we were so impressed with the staff! One of the finest and friendliest ive come across. Anything you asked for you got. However, i do think that the hotel is overpriced, that was the only thing, it felt more like a hotel... more

My AAA travel agent booked me at the Hotel Ariston in Dubrovnik (part of the Importanne Resort complex). While I was generally pleased with the hotel, the location was a little on the far side from the Old Town -- definitely NOT walking distance, and a 15 to 20 minute city bus ride or 5 to 10 minute cab ride.... more
