I felt like part of the family! From the minute we booked the reservation the staff started working. We had an amazing time. We had an awesome sea side view and the entire hotel was very clean. It is only a 14 room hotel so that gives the staff a chance to be very attentive, they by all means were.... More

Looking for a quick short stay from Germany where the sun would be shining I chose Zadar. I was not disappointed. This hotel is a real gem. They arranged pick up at the airport at midnight which was a big help coming in so late and having someone meet us. By the time I paid the taxi and walked into... More

We had a short stoppover at Hotel Niko in order to catch an early flight. Expecting to arrive at a sleepy hotel around 11:30pm, we were pleasantly surprised to find a buzzing restaurant, a group of friends (members of the local male choir) singing beautiful Croatian chants in the bar and the most friendly and accomodating staff we had encountered... We stayed at Hotel Niko for 1 night on our way from Zagreb to Dubrovnik, and since we had such a short stay in Zadar on our way down, we decided to come back towards the end of our trip. The staff is so very friendly, and it feels good to support a family-run establishment that focuses on good service.... More

We truly enyoyed our stay. Fantastic atmosphere and the food is awesome. Warm friendly staff that makes you want to come back. Location is right at tbe beach and it's a scenic walk along the water if you want to walk to the old city. Busstation is also very close by.

The staff is so warm that you just don't want to leave. Clean, spacious rooms. This hotel has everything that you need: proximity to a super market; a restaurant downstairs with fresh seafood; modern fixtures and tv set. Two cons: 1) brown water came out of the shower for some time. It was a bit nerve-racking getting into the shower... More

We had a really nice stay here. We were having trouble finding a hotel, but they had a space for us. It was a beatiful place to stay -- great rooms, goood service. Downsides are that it is expensive and very far from the old town.

We planned on a one night stop in Zadar to break our coastal drive from Dubrovnik to Rovinj along the magnificent Croatian coast line. We took a brief drive through the old town of Zadar prior to heading out to the Hotel Niko. We were blown away by the richness of the hospitality of the staff at the hotel, it... More

This 4* hotel is very well located. It is right on the beach. The hotel is new, modern and very well run. The restaurant is quite pricey. But the food quality is great. The view from the restaurand is just superb! It is overlooking the bay and old town of Zadar. WiFi and parking is free. You can walk to... More

Yes, ask for sea view. Yes, no room service, but when I got wine to take to our room and watch the sunset they offered to bring it up. Room clean and comfy. Easy to find and parking right in front. Room not ready when we arrived so they sat us in the restaurant and served us cappuccino and a... More
