I was staying in Lviv and we visited this beautiful hotel to eat at the restaurant one evening. They have no idea at all! We wanted a drink (or two) main course and desert only (no starter) that is where it all went wrong! It wasn't a language problem as my girlfriend is Ukranian.

We were told the mains would take 15 mins, no problem for us as we could relax, lovely! The waitress returned 'pushing' starters so we ordered, 10 mins later they arrived,we were only part way through them when she returned again to say mains were ready and tried to take away the unfinished starters, we said we needed to finish the starters (that we didn't really want in the first place). This did not go down well.
