I stayed at the Hotel Wien for 12 days. Given the hotel alternatives in L'viv -- either cheaper and shoddy, or better but far more expensive -- it was a decent choice. We stayed at the Wien hotel for three nights in May 2008. Our room was nicely decorated with high ceilings. We loved people watching from our window facing the street. The hotel is really good for its price - consider that it is in the very heart of Lviv and costs 50% less than the nearby hotels. It is very cosy, good clean rooms, nice staff, nice interier inside and all accomodations that you may need. Wireless internet in each room. The bad thing was the tram that was passing... more

Excellent hotel; great location - very center of the city. Very clean and charming room for 3, well equipped, with great view. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff (Nadezhda was just great!). No elevator, but bell stuff willingly helped with luggage. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of nice restaurants around and an excellent one in the hotel. more

The hotel is in a great location, in the center of the city. The rooms are reasonably clean and quite comfortable, although furniture and equipment is rather cheap. Rooms are closed with old-fashioned, big keys you are supposed to leave at the reception. But, in a city where most inhabitants have running water only for a few hours every day... more

If you want to be at ground zero in Lviv, want a clean, standard room for about $70/nite, you better check this one out. Across the street from the Grand Hotel @ $165/nite. Great desk staff. Complimentary breakfast. Hot water. Rooms very clean and seem renovated. Rooms are fairly small, mine was more than adequate for one person. more
