This is a very warm and friendly hotel situated up a narrow street in the middle of the old town of Kotor. The room was on the small side, borderline clean, and overlooked an alley directly to another building. The night we stayed, it wasn't noisy until 8 AM, when hotel staff started making noise outside. There's very little to recommend it in particular, but equally little to complain about. It's alright, but I wouldn't give the address to my best friend. more

I was a little iffy about booking here after reading a couple of reviews about noisiness here. maybe it was the location of my room, but i heard NO noise from bars, clubs, foottraffic, etc. the room was large, the accommodation pretty reasonable. i would recommend it. more

Hotel Marija was on a whim. Room 25. Magical views of the churchbells with a steep granite cliff as the backdrop. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms clean with cable. After 2 weeks with no CNN it was nice to catch up on some current events -- took 30 minutes. Late night music ended early, BINGO announcer did not.... more
