Stayed here for one night between Ohrid and Belgrade in September 2010. Booked a room with air con on Laterooms at a price that was a little more than the hostels advertised on hostelworld at the time. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the free computer use in the lobby (if the computer actually works). Way too many people standing around, have no idea what is going on, rooms bare-bones and run-down, lobby huge but vacant because no one wants to stay here. Great hotel in the 70-80 period. Sadly, seems that they have abandoned the hotel since than. Even the staff seemed very surprised that someone wanted to stay in their hotel. Terrible rooms, terrible breakfast, no service whatsoever.

We should have known when we walked into the lobby of the hotel, when we saw the walls pealing and timber features falling off. The lock on the door to the room was damaged, the bathroom had stains all over it, the curtains were torn and falling off, the carpet was flat and patchy with cigarette burns all over it,... More

It seems like this hotel has lived big times in the past, but now it seems to be abandoned. Dirty and with only one elevator working, this hotel doesn't worth even the 50 Euros for a double room. The only thing that is worth is the breathtaking view from the rooms that are on the highest floors.
