I arrived on the evening train from Sarajevo at about 8.30pm, with no hotel reservations, and was 'nabbed off' the train by the owner of this pension (panzion) which is located on a dirt-track about 50m across the road from the train station, next to the bridge/river. I was quoted €30-a-night by the owner in what is essentially a semi-detached apartment where he and his family lives next door.
The apartment is incredibly spacious - with a reception area, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen (utensils included, kettle, fridge etc), bathroom (shower only), air-con and a bedroom with a double-bed. The owner had obviously renovated the apartment with this type of business in mind, with double-glazed windows and is pretty clean overall. You can also see the river running downstream from the master bedroom.
There's no internet or cable TV, however, and only one tank of hot water so with two guests, you may have to wash economically or stagger your shower times. There are...
