Truly a special place. Ismet led us to snowy mountain tops, ruined castles, drinkable rivers, medieval villages, Bogomil necropoli, lent us bikes for evening rides down country roads, and fed us more than our share of delicious local food. Could not ask for more.

I stayed there last week and agree whole heartedly with all the positive reviews. If you are looking for a Disco this isn't the place for you, but if you like good food, nice people and a facinating landscape this is it.

My boyfriend spied a section of the Bradt Guide that mentioned this place and the relaxation to be had up in the hills behind Mostar and it did not disappoint. Motel Sunce is possibly the most peaceful place I've ever experienced. I would like to recommend the Motel Sunce. It is 22 kilometres from Mostar and an excellent base to visit the area: Stolac, Buna, Pocitelj etc. It is a small family run.
