Spend a week in Imperial hotel last September as my company participated in the Plovdiv technical fair. The style of the hotel was excellent, the staff were very pleasant and helpful with directions and recommendations about the major city sights. Didn't try the food although if I had time the restaurant and the menu looked great but the 24hr bar... more

Just returned from the Hotel Imperial park two days ago, and it was a fabulous way to end a 1-week trip to Bulgaria. The hotel is very cool--definitely up to the standards of my hometown of New York. Stayed here in August 2006 with a friend for a weekend trip to explore Plovdiv. Although there was nothing "terrible" about the place I don't think it really lives up to what it costs to stay there and I'm certain there are better, more convenient places in Plovdiv.
