We stayed at the Hotel Splendid one night only, and as first timers in Bulgaria were not quite sure what to expect. The hotel location is fabulous. The reception area and room were spotless. The hotel staff were very accommodating and even brought us coffee and food at some ungodly hour as our flight left at 6.30ish in the morning.... more

I have stayed at this hotel several times the past few years - and every stay has been a good one. This hotel is VERY clean and comfortable (one of the very few hotels in this world where I dare to walk barefoot on the carpet).
