This was a nice pension in Brasov, Romania. Brasov was a great city situated in the beautiful Carpathian Mountains. The pension was about a 15-20 minute walk to the center of old town. It had a very nice and friendly staff. I asked where I could buy a jersey for the local football club. He didn't know and said he would find out. Five minutes later he returned and said he asked his brother who used to be on the team and his brother called the coach to find out! That's what I call service! The bed was a typical hard European hotel mattress. My only complaint about the room was that the toilet, although clean, was not bolted down firmly and the shower curtain was about ready to be changed. It wasn't a big deal and I think they would have changed it if we had asked. There were other pensions closer to town but those would have been noisy with the street crowds and clubs.
