I just came back from a week vacation at Golden Tulip 4* hotel in Mamaia and, overall speaking, I was happy with the accommodation. We paid 47 euro/night for a double room with large bed. The room was quite small, the bathroom was small as well and the balcony was a shame: it didn't have more then 1 square meter.... more

Alt how it has a modern appearance, i suspect that this was initially just an average hotel from the communist era. I've stayed in a double room that was quite small for a 4 star hotel. Although this is stated as a 4-star hotel, it is not the case. The rooms look like a 3-star hotel, the hotel has only one public internet connected computer, no fitness room, no sauna, no conference hall, the conferences are held in the lobby or in a corner of the restaurant.
