The Chanthavinh Resort is located across the Mekong River from Luang Prabang and about a 15 minute tuk tuk ride. The location is a bit of an issue as it costs money and it takes extra time to go to and from town and the hotel boat only goes across the Mekong 3 X per day otherwise you pay extra.... more

Lovely place on the side of the Mekong river, reached by their own ferry. Very kind and helpful staff and my villa was set in a beautiful garden setting.
