Situated on riverfront and a short walk from the main street, Khongsavath was a lovely place to stay. How delightful to wake up, open the shutters and see the Mekong right there! We were impressed with the large clean Lao style room, comfortable bed, A/C and hot showers, but the service was truly the highlight; Khongsavath is run by a lovely family who truly make you feel at home. Breakfast is served on the balcony overlooking the river. It is a la carte, delicious and included in the cost of the room. We would highly recommend this guest house to anyone and hope to go back again one day! more
