We spent three wonderful nghts at the beautiful Apsara Rive Droite. Terrific large and well appointed room, great balcony with a great view, great breakfasts served so well on that private balcony, great staff, and so peaceful but just seconds away from the old town. The only issue was that we did not have more time to spend there. More

This is a really lovely spot. It is very small (I think there about 8/9 rooms) and beautifully done, in a truly idyllic spot overlooking the river and across to the centre of Luang Prabang. The rooms are large and nicely furnished, and the balcony (I'd always go for the first floor rooms) was dreamy. You come here for stylish... More

Great views, lovely rooms, pool which catches the sun all day and a lot of bang for your buck. We were slightly concerned it might be a bit far from the centre of town until we found out that they have their own little boat to take you across from the hotel to the centre of town - all of... More

The hotel was really calm and relaxing. Breakfast was amongst the best I had. Coffee fabulous and really great croissants, fresh fruit etc. There is a traditional evening Lao meal which has to be ordered the day before which is well worth having, served on the lovely terrace. Only slight downside was that there was not a lot of choice... More

We had heard that Luang Prabang was a beautiful place - and it was. If we had expectations these were exceded, A wonderful place to be half way through a 3 week tour of Indo-china. This hotel - Apsara Rive Droit - just added to it. All the staff were terrific, the manageress setting the style. The hotel is comfortable,... More

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 days at the Apsara Rive Droite. The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet setting overlooking the river, across from the main town. The swimming pool is set in private gardens and the rooms are spacious and chic, with their own large shaded balconies or porches. Breakfast is included and involves a menu of choices (flawless... We loved the Apsara Rive Droite - a warm welcome and consistently wonderful service throughout our 4 day stay. The staff were extremely helpful with our endless requests for bikes/restaurant bookings/directions etc. The rooms were very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. We enjoyed the breakfasts on the terrace near the pool. Delicious Omelette Masala and fresh pineapple juice. We enjoyed eating... More

We spent Christmas in LP and discover this perfect place to enjoy sightseeing and time to relax at the swimming pool. The hotel is 5mn by boat from the center, just accross their sister hotel Apsara. Easy access to the town at any time, even at 6.30 to see the monks. Very nice staff, good service, excellent breakfast with croissants... More

I love the Apsara so i couldn't resist in giving its sister hotel the Rive Droite a bash. Gosh It was lovely. I could have stayed in bed all day, if they pool wasn't so inviting. As I'd been to Lunag Prabang before i didn't feel the need to do a lot of sight seeing so this was a perfect... More

The arrival to the Apsara Rive Droite - by small private boat ride across the river, and the climb through manicured allotments, which at night are lit by lanterns, is truly magical. The hotel itself, when you finally reach it, is not a disappointment! The service at this hotel was first class, the staff bent over backwards for us and... More
