my wife and i are just getting over possibly the worst hotel that i have ever stayed in , i had booked 5 nights at the le parasol blanc hotel in luang prabang,this hotel is situated on a dirt road , surrounded by a local village ,and as the hotel points out have your meals on our floating restaurant, possibly... more

I stayed 5 nights at Parasol Balanc and that was a pure pleasure. The rooms are large with balcony, nicely decorated, very clean, and overlooking to pond which is full of lotus flowers The staff is extremely pleasant, helpful and very polite. There is local music and dancing every night, subdued and pleasant. Buffet braekfast is good, lunch and dinner... more
