The best hotel we stayed in during a 3 week tour of Jordan and Syria. Not only did they have the best beds, the rooms were very comfortable, beautifully furnished and almost everything worked (the shower was a bit iffy but the bath was great). Lovely friendly staff, good food, well situated the only hotel we would return to out... More

The Beit Salahieh Hotel is an architectural gem. There are courtyards, many staircases, arches, vaults - an incredible space just waiting to be discovered. Each room is completely unique, and ours was very charming. High ceilings with natural stone, and a comfortable large bed. The location is excellent - just steps away from the Citadel and very close to the... More

We spent four nights at Beit Salahieh in March and throughly enjoyed the hotel and the city of Aleppo. It is a charming renovation in a lovely area of town. The whole place is full of gorgeous vistas and corners, very romantic. The rooms are individually decorated and extremely tasteful with lovely bathrooms. We found the staff helpful and I... More

Just around the corner from the Citadel of Aleppo, this is a refined and comfortable hotel. The path is well marked with gold toned signs posted at each turn from the main street. The lobby, the rooms and the public spaces are beautifully appointed in Damascene silk with the obvious eye of a sophisticated decorator. We were greeted by a... More

We walked through crooked alleyways, passing a few small shops, meeting school children and veiled mothers and suddenly saw a golden door, open with welcome. On check-in, one sits drinking blackberry juice --very civilized. The guest salons are out of Arabian Nights with cozy banquettes covered with gorgeous silk cushions and the rooms are equally lush. there are plenty of... More

Superb hotel in perfect location offering warm welcome, comfortable rooms with all mod cons, space to find a secluded corner and gaze at The Citadel and excellent dining facilities. Best beds in the country! Cannot recommend Beit Salaheih more to all travellers and wish we could have stayed more than two nights to enjoy the surroundings and service. Am counting... More

This was by far the best of several hotels we stayed in on a tour of Syria. They have somehow managed to get everything right, from serving a delicious fruit juice while they check you in, to the bath made out of one piece of marble. The staff could not have been more helpful and were very much concerned for... More

A comfortable, welcoming hotel with charming, helpful staff. Our only criticism was that the lighting in the rooms was totally inadequate. In an effort to "keep the old Syrian atmosphere" one is deprived of lighting. It would be better to have the option of turning on more lighting if one so wished. Even so we would highly recommend the hotel... More

This hotel is one of the best in Aleppo. Especially the suite rooms are so charming! This place has also all features you expect (internet, very good restaurant, roof-top restaurant, turkish bath) and it's very close to citadel and the old city. It's like an oasis in this rush and busy town. Also, we were to check hotel Yasmeen d'Alep... More
