As we were traveling with young children, Mr Moubayed, the manager, kindly arranged the suite without the internal staircase, to ensure the children's safety. The extra bed was also provided free of charge, and everything was ready when we arrived, along with a welcome drink. The main internal courtyard is spacious, and full of lovely architectural details. It soars to... more

Very nice old renovated architecture & feeling. The rooms very clean , but could be bigger. Bathroom needs more maintenance especially the bathtub & shower handle, but very clean; A/C super powerful ( great for August heat!) ; breakfast medium, but satisfactory & very attentive service. Staff very courteous, cheerful & helpful. Would definitely go back anytime! more

The Mandaloun is a well run hotel with an excellent location. We had a suite which was fine. The bathroom could do with some maintainace work, but it was very clean nevertheless. The breakfast is very good. We forgot some clothes in the wardrobe and the reception sent them by express mail to Damascus, where we were spending our last... more

We spent two nights here in June and really liked it. Quiet, clean, and a charming decor. No computers here, but free wireless. There is also a great high speed internet cafe across the way that's open until about 4am (down the street to the right of the large church across the way- ask at the desk). The staff recommended... more

This lovely renovated old Syrian house turned into a hotel lies just at the northern tip of the old Christian Armenian quarter of the city. It is located in the bustling centre of Aleppo and is close to the old Souqs and other main attractions. At the same time it is far enough from the street so that you can... more

This hotel was like walking into a different world from the outside! It was wonderful after a hectic day in Aleppo to have such a pleasant place to come back to. The hotel centers around two courtyards with fountains and plants and natural light. The ambiance is peaceful and restful. The reception staff were lovely and helpful and the door... more

After visiting 2 other boutique Hotels: beit wakil, and hotel Jdayde; we decided to chose this one and did not regret it at all. Staff were really pleasant and all really smiley and helpfull. I rarely experienced as good service in Syria. Althought receptionists from the above mentioned hotel were also friendly and courteous. Mandaloun's Manager: Monsieur Goerges just look... more

Stayed there for two nights and loved it. Great service and very quiet. The only negatives were no parking available if you are driving a rented car. Some of the rooms have a lot of stairs to climb. I would suggest you choose your room carefully if you are a senior citizen. Overall a great place. Probably one of the... more
