Our tour group were delighted to stay at this hotel for three nights at the end of our Oldest Living Cities tour with Jules Verne. The rooms have been created with no expense spared and are very elegant. Ours looked fabulous although it was slightly disconcerting navigating the steep stone staircase from our bed on an elevated mezzanine in the... more

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect for what we wanted. Being a boutique hotel the staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are looked after. The hotel has been beautifully designed and decorated and exceptionally clean. Located at the Al Hatab Square is easy walking distance to... more

We stayed two nights at the Jdayde and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a smallish boutique type hotel so there are no pools or business centre, etc. The rooms are very charming. The breakfast was good. The location on a square is excellent with great restaurants and shops nearby. It was about a 20min walk to the citadel / souk... more

I usually do not stay in Hotels in Syria but this one captivated me when I was passing by the hotel. Its location is great, central in Old (and new) Aleppo. Freindliness of its workers, specially the manager Vahe! Of course the authentic Arabic Food, something you should not miss. The hotel also serve international dishes. The cleanliness of the... more

A nice, comfortable and convenient place to stay in Aleppo. Prices are reasonable, the rooms modern but somewhat smallish. Excellent AC. The stairs to the rooms demand a minimum of physical fitness. Rooms to the square allow to take part in the evening activities of the locals. Nearby mosque has probably the best muezzin in Suria. Have been twice in... more

I stayed in Zdayde in May and June of 2009, an excellent and charming boutique hotel located in the center of the old city. Nicely furnished in the local style, friendly and helpful personnel, very clean and neat rooms, nice breakfast. Excellent view of the Citadel in the center of action. Perfect combination of value versus money. It made my... more
