I stayed at the Noria Hotel for only 1 night and my overall experience was ok. Pros: walking distance from major attractions in town; my room was clean and quiet with refrigerator and cable tv; breakfast and dinner were ok and staff was nice and helpful. Cons: entrance is bizarre as you have to walk down the hall and take... more

The Noria hotel is well located athough the entrance is via a lift in a shopping centre to the reception. You need to keep your eyes open for the sign on the first floor when you you are looking for the place as its on a one way road. Located across from the market be wary of parking in this... more

As has been said, the dingy entrance down an alley & up a lift is a bit disconcerting, but 4 floors up and it's a different world. Very warm welcome from Miss Falak and then it's choice of room - noisy, facing the street or quiet, facing into the service shaft! We opted for noisy facing Al Quwatli and it... more

When we arrived in Hama with no accomodation, everywhere was booked out except the suite in the Noria. Owner was very helpful and felt bad the rate was way over what we planned to spend. He tried to help us get a share - there were 2 bedrooms. Apart fromthe rate, the room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was... more

The owner is a nice person with a very developed "human" sense: understands you and your needs very quickly and tries to accomodate them. If you do not mind to pay a only bit more (regular rooms are extreamly cheap) I would recomend to ask for the luxury rooms. Suddenly you fill feel in another hotel (4*, es he says)... more

The hotel is on the upper floors of an office block in the heart of the town hidden away in an arcade and can only be accessed via a small lift or by climbing a lot of stairs. The staff were helpful and friendly. The foyer was spacious and in good condition. Our room was clean, spacious and had been... more

One look at the transparent sheets with no mattress cover and we were on our way out of the door but the hotel staff showed us a larger room often used by newly weds and we decided to pay the $55 for it, although the sheets werent any better and I think I still would rather have ended up at... more

This hotel has a new section, definitely ask to stay there. Very inexpensive - $60 USD for two including a rudimentary breakfast. Clean, quiet, and newer than expected. Be prepared for the elevator from the ground that takes you up to the hotel. It's spartan, but it's better than a lot of others. more

We stayed in the hotel in Nov 08. The owner is very helpful and friendly and speaks perfect English. He suggested us to stay in the new upgraded luxury suite with nice view on the city which was very comfortable and stylish. The breakfast is ok. They are also arranging tours a la carte to crac des chevaliers, afamia or... more
