This hotel is ten minutes walk from Emirates Mall and well situated for the Metro which will take you to the Marina ,Dubai Mall Bur Dubai tower. very clean and safe.
I would not take breakfast at this hotel as it is twice what you pay at one of the nearby cafe,s;

I stayed at Holiday Inn Al Barsha for two nights in the executive room with two twin beds. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself is very nice, looks fairly new. Restaurants are a bit expensive, but so is all of Dubai. We opted for eating breakfast at a cafe about a block down from the hotel....

The hotel is no fancy hotel of the ones you can find in dubai, yet its very appropriate for a family or tourist visit. very close to two metro stations. 5 mins walk from emirates mall which is one of the nice landmarks for families and shoppers. service is above average and overall i would stay with it again ;)
