We travelled as a young family of four to Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah at the end of June 2009. The hotel was stunning even though it was night time when we checked in. The foyer was spectacular it had huge glass ornamental fountain and scallop fountains everywhere. Almost every direction there was something interesting to look at. We were transfixed with the floor to ceiling Aquarium which depending on where you dined, stayed or played can be viewed directly within the hotel.
Our Atlantis deluxe room was nothing special.. It was standard, two twin double beds, flat screen Samsung T.V, hair dryer, mini fridge, tea making facilities and a sliding door open plan bathroom with separate toilet & bidet, separate shower.
The selection of restaurants were impressive but expensive. One must try Saffron located in the West Towers for the Oriental & Asian fusion breakfast (full hot breakfast & continental also available)....the Dim sums are mouth watering - a culinary delight...
