we went with young children and it was ideal for them. kitchen had fridge/freezer washing machine cutlery etc also big tv dvd player. rooms very clean and spacious and decorated elegantly and the apartment was brand new opened around march 09. swimming pool outside was clean with lifeguard. beach was 5 mins walk away and as this was located at 'the walk' at marina there was a subway and a supermarket nearby and lots of other shops too. zaheer was very helpful and so was mr ajay who quickly made sure the wifi was working in our room. the complex around the minc is ideal for families as it has a safe community style environment and ok to walk nearby at night. there was parking underground too. only downside was that bur dubai/deira were 30mins away in taxi and taxi is costly for other places too.
