The Orient Guest House was in a great location in the old Bastakiya within a few minutes walk of all the souks and local restaurants. The service at the hotel was good and is owned by Arabian Courtyard hotel so we got to use the pool and "Sherlock Holmes" bar there and everyone was very helpful. The rooms were lovely... more

This was a nice little place to stay. Great location. Great service. The only problem was the lack of continuous hot water for a shower. It would start out fine but would run cold after a bit - never enough for a whole shower. (Certainly not enough to wash your hair, ladies.) It seems to be a simple enough problem... more
