When compared to some of our other lodgings in Bolivia, this place was positively palatial. First and foremost, it really is a hotel. It has a comfortably furnished front lobby where you can sit and wait for guides and drivers. There are even a couple of PCs hooked up to the local steam-driven internet. To call Hotel Coloso a hotel is an insult to tourists. Hotel Coloso is in fact an incredibly badly run hostel. Where to start, well the rooms are fairly comfortable and clean and thats where the positives end. We stayed for 2 nights and we never once saw anybody remotely senior running the hotel.
