We stayed here for three nights while visiting the University of Michigan. The hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. To our surprise, they gave us generous coupons for the hotel restaurant. The room was very quiet and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Although the hotel is a few miles from central campus of the University of Michigan, the... more

I got lucky - got a great deal on Priceline.com and stayed for a night recently. We had tickets for a concert at the Ark and decided to stay a night. The room was lovely with a king sized bed, the linens and pillows were great, the bathroom, small but perfectly adequate for the 2 of us. Shower was very... more

As noted by others, this is a 1960s vintage Holiday Inn. If it has been "renovated", it was not apparent to me. It is in a good location, by US 23, with easy access to the University of Michigan, particularly the North Campus and Medical areas. Rooms are basic, nothing special. The hotel has a fitness center and indoor/outdoor pool.... more

This is an older Holiday Inn that has been maintained pretty well over the years. At check-in the front desk attendant was friendly and professional. The lobby area was fairly nice and clean. I was given a room on the third floor and had what seemed like an endless walk to my room due to the sprawling layout of the... more

I stay here 3-5 times a year, for business and for getaways. I had a king smoking room - Room 345 - which I coincidentally had stayed in before. The bedside phone is still not working from my last stay. The room was adequate, bed comfortable enough, toilet slow to flush. You may want to call ahead to find out... more

I booked a King Executive room, but was not impressed. The room was very minimalist, and the only thing that seemed to make it "executive" was a sad little couch. There was a door to an adjoining room that was not nearly sound-proof, as I could hear my neighbor coughing, watching TV, etc. The bathroom was small but nice, except... more

I have used this hotel many times for business stays in the past 5 years and always have a good experience here. The hotel staff is friendly and the room and public areas well maintained. I have found over the years that noise problems at night (from other guests) are practically nonexistent. The hotel is also located well off US-23,... more

We have stayed at this hotel before and were not happy with the dining room so this time we did not bother. We love the indoor outdoor pool. They have hospital rates if you are being seen at U of M of the VA so do not let them tell you otherwise. If not the microtell Inn is just next... more

Great ammenities for the hotel. Good restaurant on site. Great access to gas, groceries, and restaurants. Recently renovated. Basketball, volleyball, tennis, pool, exercise room. Become a prefered member of Holiday Inn and they give you great coupons to use at restaurant. Staff was great and helped out for local information. more

I stayed at this hotel on short notice for a family emergency. The staff was warm and friendly at check-in and my room was spotless. The staff became aware of my family situation and were wonderful to me and my family (who were not staying with me in my room). They knew my name after check-in and continuously asked about... more
