We went to a Pistons game and stayed at the Courtyard. The location is very good - very close to the Palace and the Great Lakes Crossing mall. It seemed like the hotel had been updated recently. However, the walls were EXTREMELY thin! The people staying next door were up all night. They had a phone call at 6am and... more
We went to Auburn Hills to see Neil Young at the Palace. Got a rate of $49. for the Courtyard hotel thru a friend. It's a really nice hotel, we had a king sized bed with 5 pillows - very comfy. The room had a balcony! There was a sofabed, a big tv, a desk and a wardrobe. Nice big... more
Stayed at the Courtyard Detroit Auburn Hills for one evening on May 24th (a Saturday night stay). Since my stay was rather limited in duration, my review may not be as comprehensive as others. Pros: The proximity to both the Palace of Auburn Hills (2.8 miles) and the Great Lakes Crossing Mall (5.8 miles). You can get to either location... more
Hotel was a typical business hotel. Room was clean and neat. Good heat. Okay bed. Bathroom had a GREAT shower, but low flush toilet. Has to flush two times everytime you used it. Very close to freeway, but my room was not on freeway side of hotel. IN this day and age what hotels have wired internet? No one, EXCEPT... more
I stayed at the Auburn Hills Courtyard for one night on Dec. 31st, 2007. Check-in was very quick and easy and the front desk staff was pleasant. The rooms seem to have been recently updated. I was suprised at how clean the rooms are. I've stayed at hotels that are rated higher than this one that have not been nearly... more

This area of Auburn Hills is slowing dying. Businesses are going under quickly. Only a 10 minute drive to the mall and Palace. more
This Courtyard has recently been renovated, and is typical of many Courtyard by Marriott locations. However, they have a few missed points. 1) They eliminated the closet and have a small furniture closet that is too small and has no luggage rack. 2) There is no thermostat control for the AC/Heat, which I found to be a big problem in... more
Nice place. No difficulties. Comfortable beds. Only wired internet in my room, but it worked fine. Stayed there a couple times. Good breakfast, but it was not included in the price of the room. I've recommended it to others since it's a known commodity, clean and comfortable. more
I stayed at the Courtyard the night of July 17th, 2007. I was attending The Police concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills and wanted to stay somewhere near the venue. I read mixed reviews on the hotel, but was enticed by the prospect that it was renovated in 2006 and the fact that it (like others in the chain)... more
