We were glad to find a place to stay on interstate 94 because once you pass through major cities, there are very few places to stay. Avon has just this motel. It was clean and typical for an inexpensive motel, especially since there is not much in this area.

As soon as we checked into the motel, we went to get some ice out of the ice machine. The owner comes running around the corner to tell us not to fill up the bathtub with ice because then he will have to call the police and remove our stuff from the room and we wouldnt be able to stay... More

Room was clean, basic, no frills. Continental breakfast was very basic - toast, toaster waffles, corn flakes or Fruit Loops, It is fine for passing through but would haved expected a cheeper rate for what you get at this very basic hotel.

Reservation book was a spiral notebook, shouldn't have been surprised they lost the reservation. Had the nerve to yell at us to say we must be in the wrong hotel (there is only one in town). Yelled at us again, in front of other customers. Terrible customer service, I would not recommend it.
