we stayed for a full week at this hotel.
the view was breathtaking. it is located above the water level so the view is not obstructed, but be aware that walking downtown and back requires quite an effort with a steep climb to tackle. breakfast was very basic, with only the cheapest cereal and cheese and no variety with only plain white buns (no famous austrian buns) no eggs,or vegetables. the room is small and clean but the bed creaked badly and was very uncomfortable. the host refused to let us use a washing machine or the internet.one night we heard locals screaming on the lake all night. be aware that getting in and out of the parking lot requires good driving skills. to summarize- great view, basic food and accomodation and hosts that could easily have made more of an effort to be friendly and hospitable/ more
