Have just returned from spending a week at this hotel. The hotel has been tastefully re furbished with an excellent spa. The outdoor pool and sun deck afford superb views of the lake. Free cycle hire and daily "treats" including champagne with Sunday breakfast made the hotle stand out. All the satff were very attentative and tried hard to please.... more

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends as part of a skiing package. When we got to our huge room it was lovely to see a note from the owners welcoming us and a complimentary basket of fruit. The facilities in the Spa were wonderful and it was great to come back after a hard day skiing... more

In the Salzkammergut, 45 minutes drive to the east of Salzburg, is to be found a real gem of an hotel set in an idyllic location - the Im Weissen Rossl, or White Horse Inn, made famous by the operetta of that name by Ralph Benatsky in the 1930's. The position of this hotel on the lake is unparalled as are the views. The food and service are excellent and the rooms extremely comfortable. The heated outdoor lake pool and jacuzi are delightful. The whole is experience is charming. more

St Wolfgang pre-Christmas is as lively as a cemetery at midnight! Sadly NOTHING is open repeat NOTHING unless you visit Friday, Saturday or Sunday! This hotel is expensive but eminently suitable for those aged 50+. our sixth stay at this great hotel .lovely rooms as always .very friendly and helpul staff .great facilities for when the weather is not so good ,but the restaurant service is not asquick or as efficient as it was now mr fred is not working in there for as many hours as he used to,we really missed him at breakfast... more
