Expected a 1950's motel that had been updated & that's what this is. Good value for the price, especially given the prces of other motels in the town. Although the decor was tired, it was clean and the bed was fine. Dixie (front desk) knows the area well and was very friendly and helpful, recommending an appropriate restaurant.

This is a hard place to rate. Certainly the price made this stay affordable, about 30-40% less then other places in town. We had 2 different rooms in our 3 days stay. Like other reviews have said if your looking for fancy this is not it... But fancy will cost you a pretty penny in Alliance..this hotel was clean pool area was maintained. The lady at the desk was very helpful provided fans as the air conditioning wasn't quite getting it all in all a good stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and indoor pool. Wi-fi was unreliable, but is reportedly being upgraded. Motel is on the far east end of town just past the junction; google has it improperly plotted in the middle of town.

Coming in from the North or South you will come to Hwy 2 going East - take it past several "name brand" motels - past 2 Chinese Places and Ken & Dales Restaurant all good places to eat - the "last" place on the left is Sunset Motel.
