Driving through southern NV this was an oasis of good food and a wonderful place to stop. There are few places to stay in the area and this was a restful break. The staff was very helpful. They are closed on Sunday. But arrangements can be made for arrivals. Best part, asked if we had horses or other "pets" on... more
Had been surfing google earth for accomodation around Alamo and found the Windmill Ridge. We drive from Sun Valley through Las Vegas every year and always stop inbetween for the night. Windmill Ridge has nice cabins, very clean. Also, the reataurant has good quality food. The staff is friendly and efficient. Even though it is on the road it is nice and quiet. more
If you're passing through nothern Nevada and plan on stopping for the night try to make your way to Alamo, NV and the Windmill Ridge Lodge.
