As part of a Peregrine tour, we stayed one night at this hotel. Despite being in the middle of summer there was no air-conditioning and the rooms are absolutely stiffling and impossible to sleep in with such little air circulation - it was far more comfortable outside. This could be a real 'gem' for people looking for decent budget accommodation in expensive Kasane. The food is great (but slow, slow, slow) and the ablutions are fine. Sadly, no effort is made to 'landscape' and so we slept in a disgusting sea of mud which could so easily have been avoided with grass or sand! It was horrible.... more
