We camped at Chobe Safari Lodge and htime great time there. Can't wait to come back and stay even longer next time! The campsite was great but the highlight was definitely the sunset river cruise - watching all of Chobe's elephants, lions, hippos and countless other animals from the river was an incredible experience. The lodge has a great location... More

We stayed in a Safari Room at the Chobe Safari Lodge for four nights. The location was perfect, overlooking the Zambezi River, within walking distance to the town with a large supermarket, to rival any Tesco, and near to the Chobe National Park. The Reception/Restaurant/Bar are very impressive with typical African theme. Our room was luxurious with huge double bed... More

Overall very enjoyable and recommended highly. Only at activity desk they was not so helpful. We decided to use Steenbok instead and they was superb. We were lucky to be only us in the jeep of Steenbok, not 9 people like in the other jeeps from the lodge. Also we tried to book the Namibian village tour from the lodge,... More

Large rooms with huge bathrooms. Tubs would fit two. Romantic vibe. I could not get the ac to work to my satisfaction. Room service not really up to par to match level of lodge. Sometimes the buffet is just not what you want. They were really promoting it. Common area was beautiful and so convenient for activities. Overall very enjoyable... More

We stayed in one of the huts on the waterfront and had an amazing view of the river, complete with glorious sunsets. The "beware of the hippos and crocs" signs didn't phase us and we loved the warthogs who roamed the property. Accommodations were comfy and the food delicious. The variety, especially with the local game was most enjoyable at... More

Chobe Safari Lodge is a favourite amongst travellers to Botswana and an absolute hit with international guests looking for the African safari experience with all the comforts attached too. We like it for its convenient location, fabulous river side setting, its sunset game cruises and the fabulous, hidden away bush bar at the campsite. The Lodge offers safari rooms, chalets... More

Before our visit to Chobe Safari Lodge 2 weeks ago we last stayed there about 20 years ago when our childern were small. At that time we were real bush travellers and camped in the camp site, but this time we visited with longstanding friends from Canada and booked a Safari Room each. The Lodge has latered drammatically from our... More

The hotel grounds are full of wild monkeys and during our stay I was attacked on the verandah of our rondavil. I had to have multiple Rabies injections - 6 on the first day and the rest over a 4 week period - total cost £500. The hotel have not even acknowledged our correspondence and have not answered email. My... More

My wife and I had chosen this holiday after having been recommended by a friend. We had been threee days previous to our stay here at the Zambesi Sun Hotel in Livingstone. At Chobe Lodge we stayed in a Safari room. It was large, well appointed and very clean. The staff were extremely pleasant ( I've read that some visitors... More

We chose a rondavel by the river which was nice enough, until I saw two rats chasing each other around the beams inside our room! We ran to reception and asked for a new room, but both the receptionist and the Duty manager were unapologetic. Eventually we were moved to a safari room, but not before the DM had the... More
