Great trip. Did exactly as it said. Pleasant lodges in lovely setting, comfortable beds, nice friendly staff. Food perfectly acceptable rather than gourmet. Activities were excellent. Our guide 'King' was personable, knowledgeable and went out of his way to make it really special. Already recommended to others we met looking for a god place.

Kubu lodge has a great position and is without doubt a good looking, characterful accommodation. We self drove to and from Kubu Lodge. The main entrance to Chobe is around 10 or 15 minutes away by car and not far from the Kazungula ferry, around five to ten minutes. We spent three days (two nights) in one of the bungalows on the Kubu Lodge estate in July 2012. The bungalows are situated on a large lawn right next to the river. Back for the third time and still up to par. Beautiful lush lawns on the banks of the Chobe river with attentive and friendly staff when you need them. Compared to the over priced lodges in the area this is true value for money and extremely relaxing.

This hotel has a lovely location on the shore of the river, with wonderful views. It's a great place to relax between safari drives in the national park. The food was fantastic!!! The rooms aren't extraordinary, but they are comfortable and the ambience of the grounds and the public areas is perfect. We highly recommend.
