I can't explain why I actually stopped here. I was really beat from a long day of driving, and I guess I just gave up. Don't make my mistake. There has to be a better cheap place.

This is a large courtyard motel from the early '50s. It's in pretty crummy shape. The furniture is hideous. There was some sort of old glue all over the bureau. There was a nasty naugahyde chair with a rip in it, and a ridiculous canopy bed with a mirrored ceiling. I felt like some sort of ghetto pimp. The sheets were clean, but that was about it. The wallpaper was bulged, peeling, and stained. Someone incredibly incompetent had assembled wainscotting by nailing odd scraps of vinyl to the base of the wall. Paintings were held to the wall by big screws through the frame and the picture. The whole thing was ludicrous.

It did have a clean bathroom, with a nice aqua and black tile shower. For the price ($60 w/tax), I expected a lot more. I had no phone or clock, but there was... more
