Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The English guy that owned Rosy has sold the Lease to a fat Swiss German guy who renamed it ECOZ, and he is somewhat unfriendly and just sits on his computer all day long downstairs and perhaps should be in another line of work. The place is still nice enough, dont bother with the kitchen though, and the WiFi in the 3rd floor room and balcony does NOT work at all even after telling the guy. At the moment, end of June, there are mostly drunken European and Aussie expats staying there who cant get out of Cambodia due to this virus nonsense. Its a nice place to stay as long as you can deal with the loud "music" coming from the bar during the day and the lack of Internet access. One time was enough for me, as i dint care for the Vibes whatsoever.

We had a quick meal there. Service was friendly and drinks were cold. The food was very ordinary. Maybe we should have ordered British style food rather than their take on the local stuff. The food was bland and unimpressive.

We stayed for 3 nights to visit the Angkor tempels and are really happy we landed at Rosy. The bar seems to have a 'UK' topic as food and drinks are clearly inspired by that. We think that the owner might originate there. We had toast and eggs for breakfast at the bar and it was delicious. However, there is a variety of choices for breakfast or dinner. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we always hat a nice last beer at the bar. The room and bath were clean and funktional. You have everything you need there.

We had just arrived in Siem Reap, and went out to look around and found Rosy Guest house bar. Simon was extremely helpful in telling us the places to visit and also what not to do, had a refreshing couple of beers and it set us up for the evening ahead. Nice bar atmosphere.

A friend recommended this place for 'eating'. I have been here a couple of times. Once for breakfast and the other for lunch. The breakfast was good. I had a Burger for lunch. The Burger was good. Not really use to the style of 'chips' that are served. A little soft.

I stayed here for four nights, the price was right and it appeared the right choice. Simon is great, the staff are lovely, all smiles and it's nice not to be in the centre of things. I'd arranged an airport pick up, no one showed and I'm not one to lose my temper or sulk so I made my own way in, profuse apologies and an offer of a few drinks to make up for it, no need, I'm here now. The rooms ok, the balcony is comfortable, the beer is cold, the food is good, I had one breakfast and one evening meal and I get called by my name. They arranged a driver for me for the short tour and sunrise at Angkor, the night watchman woke me, the driver turned up on time so I got him to take me on the long tour a couple of days later. Simon is full of info, as are his regulars, mostly expats, and on leaving was offered a free trip to my bus company if the pick up didn't turn up but no need. It wasn't very busy hotel wise but the restaurant and bar picked up at night.

Very comfortable - no problems with the room, great food (!), helpful staff, good location - outside the noise of downtown but easy to get downtown when desired. Simon was wonderful - really nice to have an English perspective and easy to talk to.

Thank you to Simon and staff for our delightful stay at Rosie Guest house. We found it to be very relaxing frindly and accommodating. A great place to base yourself while soaking up the local atmosphere. Rooms basic but comfortable and clean. Meals ranging from Cambodian to Western and all very nice. Local beer on tap went down a treat and very cold ! Keep up the good work guys! Bob & Jess (father & daughter)

No complaints, eggs were lovely, sausage and bacon good quality, beans just like home and toast to perfection. If your needing a fry up, here is the place ! Here is the $4 option, which was served quickly and staff were nice and friendly.

We stayed here for 5 nights- the bed was comfy enough and it had good WiFi but the shower was cold and didn’t drain. It wasn’t the cleanest either. We could have dealt with that but then the owners children have run of the place. They screamed, did their homework at the bar and even had a sleepover at the hotel. There is also a balcony which we wanted to relax on but that’s where the kids have their French lessons so no can do, which was unfortunate. Would have been much nicer stay if the children weren’t there. There is a lady who works there called Tia who was lovely and very helpful.
