After the exhileration of being part of our son's wedding in Phnom Penh we were keen to absorb more Cambodian culture but also relax -and could not have found a better hotel. Mr Kim went out of his way to care for us- trips into Sien Reap and pickup when ready to return to the hotel at any time, airconditioned... more

If you want a personal experience in staff, this is the the hotel. 1. Pleasant and enthusiastic greeting 2. Attentiveness to housekeeping 3. Personal greetings each time you wander through the lobby. 4. Historic and unique building structure. The Manager, Mr. Khim, is as pleasant as they come. Make time to learn about his family story...both saddening, yet fascinating and... more

My wife and I stayed at the Angkor Spirit Palace for four nights. Our room was huge, clean and with all the modern conveniences our Western culture has accustomed us to in our bathroom. From the outset we were welcomed like family. A complimentary dinner at our arrival set the tone. Mr. Khim arranged for a driver, a comfortable SUV... more

The hotel itself was fine, big room, not too many bugs around, ancient cambodian style, ok breakfast. But beware of how much money they charge you for the services (guide, driver, extra tours), which can be ridiculously high for cambodia. Be informed of the right prices before you go, that can save you a lot of dollars. more

Tucked away from the crowds of Pub St and downtown Siem Reap is the beautiful and sprawling Ankgor Spirit Palace. At first it feels as though you are staying inside the ruins themselves, what with the carvings and naga that cover the exterior. The rooms are very clean, but could use a little more personality to raise their character to... more

Me & my partner stayed here on reccomendation from Mr Phannak at the Fancy Guest House in Phnom Penh. What a great choice. The hotel is lovely a little outside town which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle and hear the grasshoppers at night. The hotel offers free lifts in and out of town which is... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2009- a group of 4 of us. Greeted by a very friendly driver at Siem Reap bus station (the hotel even arranged transfers for us). Arrived at a very interesting looking hotel, and checked in promptly. The rooms they gave us were HUGE, so spacious and clean with complimentary bottles of water. Initially... more

We had a wonderful stay at Angkor Spirit. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Best of all, they even let the 4 of us stay in 1 big room. The staff were friendly and efficient. After a scary experience with a tuk tuk driver, we really appreciate the free pickup services they had to and from Siem Reap town.... more

This is a little gem. It is quiet, great service, great staff all of whom arre willing to help with any problem. Mad some good friends here from the staff. The pool is very good and relaxing and a new restuarnat is ready to be built overlooking the town. Good for either single or families. I had a fabulous time... more
