If you're a budding photographer you'll never go wrong with hiring Sang Kimleng as your guide and driver. He maintains Tropanier Villa (aka Angie's Villa) with his warm and caring family, keeping it in excellent condition.
We stayed in Ta Prom (one of the 4-5 rooms), and immediately felt at home.
Very clean rooms, homely atmosphere, beautiful backyard garden, and good breakfast made punctually every morning by his wife. Reasonable tuk-tuk prices too (Kimleng's also a tuk-tuk driver).
He brought my friend and I to attractions like Kbal Spean and Banteay Srei, as well as secluded spots within the temple complexes. The photo opportunities he pointed out were pointless. We wouldn't have enjoyed our trip so much without him. Check out his website: http://kimlengsang.com/
