It's hard to imagine going to Angkor Wat and not staying at Raffles. It was a perfect stay and I would revisit Angkor Wat just to stay here. Service is the best I have ever experienced and I have stayed at the world's top hotels. Everyone staff member knew my name and all had smiles, just waiting to see how... more

The staff are plentiful, extremely helpful and always cheerfull. All the facilities are first class, and the pool in divine - check it our at night too ! We were sad... more

This is the place to stay, if your wanting to relax after visiting Angkor Wat . The location is hard to beat !!! . Its close enough to the city for shopping and eating out, without the bright lights and noise. The service is sincere, thoughtful and just wonderful, extremely helpful with baby!!!. The food is probably one of the... more

The hotel is in the "grand" style of the 1920's. The staff is courteous, the food is good, the room is large by Asian standards. The only draw back is that it is in Siem Reap which is still a third world city, but the best spot to stay if you want to see the temples of Angkor. more

We booked driver and tour guide through conceriege, $50 a day...well worth the money, we went to the floating village and the following day the temples...which I cannot describe as u have to see them...simply breathtaking....The tour guide explained the... more

I cannot think of a criticism. Romantic and reeking of history. Beautifully restored to its past glory. If one is visiting specifically to view Angkor, I recommend 3 nights at Raffles and 3 half day visits to the temples being the perfect compromise of history, culture, indulgence and romance, but without leaving you physically and mentally wrecked. Cultural overindulgence can... more

This was my first trip to Siem Reap and being familiar with the Raffles brand, I had high expectations from the hotel and staff. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. From the moment we pulled up, we were greeted with smiles, warm greetings by name, a cold towel as well as a cold drink while checking in, and always... more

First, you must want to go to Angor Wat (Siem Reap - the town) is 3rd world. Yes, lots and lots of 2,3,4, and 5-star hotels for the many who travel here for the magnificent temples. But beware: arriving in Cambodia takes a bit of fortitude, and the heat, poverty, and crowded Asian tour buses can make you crazy! Enter... more

This hotel has excellent service, food, and pool. For someone who likes the classic look, this is perfect for you. I prefer more contemporary and hip, and would stay in Hotel de la Paix next time. more
