Having stayed in the Raffles Phnom Penh earlier, with great satisfaction, I was keen to stay at the sister hotel in Siam Reap. Finally got the chance with my sister and brother in law for their wedding anniversary. 4 days there was just great, and all I hoped. Pool is huge, service is wonderful (attentive, but not obsequious), buildings and... more

The Raffles Hotel is not a five star hotel, it may appear to tick all the boxes initially but after taking a second look it is far from. One of the reasons this property was chosen was for its "old world charm" however, this is not an excuse for the hotel being poorly maintained and run down. The hotel also... more

I accompanied a tour group to Cambodia in January and we stayed at the old Grand for three nights. I had known the hotel since its reno by Raffles in the 90s and stayed there once ten or twelve years ago. It has kept up the tradition of excellent service, comfort and elegance. There are more modern hotels now in... more

This was a magical experience that gave us the charm of an ancient time with modern facilities. So much better than the modern hotels that are climbing up around Siem Reap.. The entire experience was wonderful and is highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience style, service, glamour, and facilities way beyond those available in international hotel chains. more

I just returned from a stay at The Raffles hotel in Siem Reap and really enjoyed it. The hotel is lovely from top to bottom. The hotel is very clean, well maintained, and the pool area is beautiful. I stayed in the "old" wing and found my room to be large, well appointed, and very comfortable. Great bed! I tried... more

If you fancy history and luxury, then you'll love the Raffles. This hotel is not modern : don't expect to find design furniture or brand new linens... But if you want to feel the flavor of Cambodia's (Indochina actually) colonial past while pampering in a wonderful 5* hotel, then you'll love the Raffles. The service is perfect. The rooms are... more

We really loved our room at the Raffles which, to our great delight, came with a daily fruit basket and unexpected little gifts, and was frequently made up with toiletries generously replenished throughout the day. We relished the old world charm (the older the better) but with the usual modern bath amenities, the large inviting swiming pool and the food.... more

The Raffles d'Angkor Grand is a wonderful hotel in Siem Reap if you are lured by old world charm. This is by no means a modern hotel, however the charm of the people and the property make it a relaxing destination. It seemed as if most staff members took the time to memorize our names as they were uttered frequently... more

We recently visited Siem Reap to see the ancient temples of Angkor Wat. We heard the Raffles was superb in accomodations. That is an understatement. Their service was the best I've had in 40+ years of travel. Their staff assisted us in every way. The restaurant was amazing as well as the service. The driver (Dara) was extremely courteous, safe,... more
