We stayed in Victoria Angkor for 4 nights at the start of our honeymoon - we loved it! 1. Service - the staff were great, always very friendly & helpful, including reception, restaurant & cleaning staff - everyone was so warm & helpful, and not in a fake way. 2. Room - we loved our room - comfortable bed, nice... more

Excellent room, reasonable price, gorgeous grounds and pool, spa, cocktails, and sumptuous breakfast. What an excellent place to stay while touring Angkor Wat and other temples in the area. The hotel provided a tranquil haven to which we can return and relax after a hot, hectic day of visiting temples. Our room was very comfortable with a real king bed--not... more

Our stay in Cambodia began in Seam Reap (6 nights)/Phom Penh - Raffles (2 nights)/Veranda, Kep 6 nights (see other hotel reviews) In Seam Reap we stayed at the Victoria Angkor Hotel, which we loved. We stayed in a deluxe room on the first floor overlooking the swimming pool. There were tea/coffee making facilities, robes, and slippers in the room,... more

The hotel is lovely with a lovely salt water pool as the centerpiece of the facility. We were greeted by the staff in typical asian fashion with a welcome drink while they do the passport thing. The problem being that the open air lobby was about 95 degrees F. and humid as can be. If accustomed to these climates, fine,... more

The staff were outstandingly helpful, friendly, warm, welcoming...without exception. The hotel itself is stunning yet warm and comfortable. The wonderful inner courtyard pool was such a treat after touring in the very hot and humid weather. The breakfast was perfect and we had an excellent lunch as well. The only reason I rated the hotel room less that great was... more

No loud music, great food and pool-side service. Confusing package deals and we would suggest just going with the flow and book as you see fit when you get there. Hot! Angkor was all you could dream. Town nice and close to all. Cleaner than Bali. Unsung hero: IKTT more

I stayed at the Victoria in late February 2009 with my teenage daughter for three nights. The hotel was excellent. The food was good. The hotel organised a driver and car to take us to the Angkor sites. Lovely pool, efficient service. Apart from amusingly being registered as '"Icelandic" rather than British I can't fault the hotel. more

The Victoria Angkor looks amazing from the outside, and the ground are just fantastic, with the pool taking pride of place. The location is also very good, just a short walk into town, with lots to see and do, in the way of shops, markets and restaurants. There were just a couple of things to let this otherwise lovely hotel... more

The Victoria Angkor was everything I wanted from a Siem Reap hotel. Our room was quiet and comfortable, overlooking the pool. The breakfast buffet was amazing - a huge choice of eastern and western dishes and eggs and pancakes to order. It was better than I've seen in many more expensive hotels. They are still serving mid-morning too, so you... more

We stayed in this hotel a the end of January for 4 days with two other couples and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel has a beautiful colonial style about it and the room we were in had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. We ate in all of the restaurants in the hotel and enjoyed every one, but... more
