Very beautiful hotel in Siem Reap with superbe garden and very long swimming pool. It's like an oasis in Siem Reap and so good to relax there after visiting the sites of Angkor. Very friendly staff, perfect room with nice view on garden and pool, very nice restaurant in beautiful garden, good food, etc. more

We stayed 4 or 5 nights at this Hotel as a part of our 14 days trip through Cambodia. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are very nice and clean and have aircon, safe, balcony and minibar. From the balcony you looked down to the pool and beautiful gardens. The hotel provided fresh drinking water in the rooms every... more

If your going to Sien Reap - stay here! Out of the whole trip around Cambodia, this was my favorite place by far. Location is excellent, on the map it looks out of town, but its actually only a 10min walk across the bridge and your into the main town. I found this ideal and it was a pleasant surprise... more

We stayed at Angkor Village Resort Hotel from 19th to 23th January 2009. The pictures in the internet (February 2009) match to what we saw. It is a fine all-wooden hotel. The meals were of good quality and the swimming pool was clean. The staff was allways friendly. But you need a tuc-tuc to go to the city and return... more

Nice looking like a gold ring......but only lightly gold plated, one can quickly see that all the fuzz is marketing, poor marketing. The rooms are noisy, the walls show fatigue, the pool is dirty, the staff is unable to understand anything, no executive can be seen, reservations are lost, all this for price of gold. Including the smallest amenity or... more

I stayed at this hotel last week for 4 days. The rooms are clean and servicable. However my first room had no water at all, then no electricity and finally a tap in the bathroom would not turn off. Although, each problem was fixed, I found the staff to be uncooperative (most of the staff are young Camodian girls who... more

We stayed there for 3 nights in April 2008 and had a wonderful experience. We had two rooms communicating through the bathrooms, which was great as we were travelling with our two daughters (7 and 9), one room with twin beds and one with king bed. The rooms were well equiped, although the furniture could have been more comfortable, especially... more

There is 2 Angkor Village Resort in Siem Reap. Our travel agent has booked the one in Phum Traeng for us. The architecture of this site is very Asian with plenty of plants, flowers with water feature also. People might use the word Tranquil to describe the place. This is definitely is the case as there is nothing near the... more

The hotel looks good and clean, but out of 4 nights we only mannage to sleep one.The villas are on 2 levels,no insulation,so if you have the 1 st floor you are at the mercy of your neighbour abbove. We were awaken all the time by the noise of mooved chairs. Then we mooved, but the new room was in front of the air... more

The property is very attractive, as are the rooms. It is well located in terms of the Angkor Wat and the other temples. Having said that, the service was terrible. The staff is largely comprised of young Cambodian women. They smile and are pleasant, but their English is very weak and they are unable to give a visitor the lay... more
