The service at Amansara really blew me away. It was absolutely top notch. I felt like a king. Staff were there when you wanted them and knew when to leave you alone. The hotel is quite an oasis in Siem Reap. It's a smaller Aman property, but quite exquisite. The food was uniformly excellent - particularly the breakfasts. The Pool... more

My wife and I went last year (new to trip advisor; that's why I'm writing this only now). We had the most relaxing and elegant experience we've ever had at a . . . hotel, but one can't call this a hotel. Siddarth Mehra and the staff were like nothing we'd ever seen before. All the way down to the... more

My wife and I went to Siem Reap for a long weekend, debated between the Raffles and the Amansara, and chose the Amansara because the excurions to Angkor seemed much better organized, and the old colonial style of the Raffles seemed like it could be a bit tired. Happy we did so, primarily because the staff at the Amansara was... more

We stayed here last year and loved every minute of it. The rooms are smaller than most hotels would offer you for the same price, but it really did not make a difference. This is a small intimate hotel where you will see the manager and chef often and where the staff cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable,... more

We stayed in April 09 3 days in Amansara. It was a great experience. They did a perfect schedule for our 3 days. There is nothing negative to say about Amansara. Phantastic staff, nice rooms ans spa, great food. We enjoed the trips to the temples (all perfect organized by the hotel) and the time in the hotel to relax.... more

There are many superlatives that you can use to describe Amansara but none of them will really do this place justice. From the moment you are greeted at the airport and driven to the hotel in the vintage Mercedes to when you leave and look back to see a large group of the hotel staff waving farewell this place is... more

A gorgeous resort extremely private, outstanding service. This is the best hotel/resort I have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely attentive and very discret. They would service your room twice a day. They organised me a private tour of the orpahanges, temples, meeting with a private Buddist, cooking in the kitchen of resort. The food was fantastic and fresh.... more

What a wonderful place! The beautiful and luxurious room with private garden, the calm and peaceful atmosphere, the attentive staff, unexpected touches such as coming back after a sticky afternoon looking at temples to find a bath already run and strewn with flowers! The guide we were allocated was excellent and knew when to visit temples to catch them when... more

This was my second Aman experience and Aman delivered again. From the minute we were picked up from the airport to the minute we were dropped off everything was amazing. The GM and all the staff went out of their way to make you feel like family which is always the case at Aman. We had one of the rooms... more
