This was a great place for us to stay for 6 nights in October. The room was reasonable sized with a big double bed with a huge heavy carved head board. It also came with aircon and a TV with few English language movie channels. Cost was reasonable. The room was clean and they did our laundry for us, a... more

We are currently staying at ''Shadow of Angkor Guesthouse I''. Even though there is nothing special about the guesthouse, it's clean and simple and the location is ideal. Only a short walk to the Old Markets and Pub Street which has all the great little restaurants and bars. Haven't had any issues so far although they do offer free internet... more

Booked into S of A for 3 nights. The room was the dirtiest we have had in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia and Cambodia. Unsure why it is rated so highly here. The floor was grimy, the bathroom was tiny and very tired looking and the water was intermittent. Stayed one night and moved to Red Piano (which was $5 more... more

The owner of the guesthouse is very helpful and the room is small but well equipped with hot shower and air conditioning. It is very well worth the price that was paying. Free internet use and wifi is a plus. Very near to streets and markets. Finding food has no problem as places like Swensens and Blue Pumpkin is very... more

I have stayed here a nunber of times. I keep coming back because of the friendly and helpful attitude of the owners and their staff, as well as the great location; in the river and next to the old market. Near the main tourist streets but far enough away to avoid the noise at night. {It is also handy to... more

Great Kmer family run gursthouse. Friendly, Clean , comfortable and tidy. Our guide Mr So was informative, proud of his country and keen to show off all the temples, including out of the way and out of the town temples. Waiters and staff love to practise their English with you. more

A nice small hotel with a great restaurant. The rooms werent that special for the money, but they were allright. The personell was nice and helpful. The internet at shadow of angkor was expensive, but on the other hand it worked quite well and was moderately fast. The hotel has a very good location, close to the touristy area with... more

This excellent Siem Reap guesthouse has a superb location right on the riverside, just a block away from the old market (Psar Char) and the bustling tourist-friendly area around the market with its collection of Western bars and restaurants, but still quiet enough to rest & relax. Its housed in a gorgeous renovated French colonial period building and offers superb... more

I stayed here for 3 nights with my mom. Comments on the owners: * From my email correspondence with Ly, I was promised a twin room facing the river and on the first floor. But when I got there, I was given a non river-facing room on the second floor. As expected, my elderly mother had trouble climbing the steep... more

My sister recommended me to stay in this place during our trip to Seam Reap. Little that we know, the time of year between my sister trip and mine would make a huge difference on the condition of this guesthouse. The first impression we got when we arrived there was pretty good, I mean the staff is very warm and... more
