From the get-go, I was sold. The staff is so eager, kind and attentive. The welcome was wonderful, and my room, which was on the main floor was the perfect size and location. Just a point to note - my room was along the pool, the first night it was a bit noisy with the water running and hearing the... more

Wonderful hotel with a caring and very pleasant staff. It also houses a hospitality school with students eager to please. Rooms are clean, well appointed with comfortable beds. The General Manager, Chitra, has a heart of gold which shines through everywhere. If you want a memory of a lifetime, contact Salomon Deleon at cba@shintamani.com, who is from Seattle and is... more

I just called to make a reservation and was told that I couldn't do it over the phone but must fill out 'a form.' When I informed the gentleman that I recently booked a friend at the hotel over the phone in March, he said it didn't matter any more and I still needed to go on line and fill... more

We arrived on New Year's Eve day and spent four nights at Shinta Mani. Since we were there on New's Years Eve we were required pay for the New Year's Eve party, which wa pretty expensive for a buffet dinner...but that was OK. The staff really tried hard, played Madonna music and got most everyone out dancing. We even played... more

We chose Shinta Mani as it is advertised as a training facility for the hospitality industry and also because it is owned by and supports Cambodians. We were greeted warmly on arrival and usually had attentive service. The problem is the hotel itself. The rooms are much smaller than most of the other hotel’s rooms in this price range. The... more

First of all would like to thank you for taking your time off to write a review about your stay in our hotel. To answer to your question with regard to the size of the room, we have very clearly indicated in our web site (http://www.shintamani.com/rooms/index.php ) the size of the four different types of rooms available. Our room sizes...

Was looking to stay at the FCC in Siem Reap but they were already full, so they recommended the Shinta Mani. It turned out to be pretty good. We travelled in a group, and one of our rooms was upgraded to a suite, which was pretty spectacular. The regular room is fine in itself. Well decorated, with good amenities. There... more

We chose Shinta Mani because of the rave reviews we read on Trip Advisor, however, we were rather disappointed by our stay there. First of all, the good part of the stay.... the hotel staff was fluent in English, warm, hospitable and friendly. They helped us make the necessary travel arrangements, and even packed breakfast for us when we had... more

This was a splurge for us at $US110+++, however there seemed to be little to choose from between the budget hotels & the 5 star accommodation. We were greeted with a welcome drink & silk scarves, our room was very spacious & extremely comfortable. The breakfast was good and included espresso coffees if one wished. The pool was a blessing... more

I really wanted to rate Shinta Mani as a 5-star choice. After all, how often do you get to stay in a hotel where a portion of the profits are funding a school? Shinta Mani runs a Hospitality Institute, which trains young Cambodians for jobs in the hotel industry. Almost all of the 4 (so far) graduating classes have found... more

We very much enjoyed our stay here (in one of the standard rooms). We had a laptop so enjoyed the free wifi internet access. The service here is top class as you would expect. We thought the location was great, just round the corner from the FCC (fantastic margaritas) and within walking distance (10 mins) of pub street & all... more
