I found this hotel through TripAdvisor reviews and corresponded with them via email to book as I was coming from Vietnam. The response was fast and the rates great - $16 for two people, twins beds, air con. They had a driver ready to pick us up when our bus pulled in and the transport was complimentary. When we arrived... more

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights at the Mandalay Inn while visiting Siem Reap. The hotel organised a tuk tuk driver (Vuthy) to pick us up from the airport and had a room available for us before 8am in the morning. The room was on the 4th floor (only stairs, no lift) and had a bed, air conditioner, ceiling... more

The place was very clean. The room was a little small but for the price ($15 with air and refrigerator), it was well worth it. The room was on the third floor with a view of the streets and the sunset. Just down the street was the ‘old market’. And within walking distance were the main restaurants of Siem Reap.... more

The location is spot on - 2 minutes from all the restaurants/pubs. The staff couldn't be friendlier, the room was clean if small, and you do have to contend with a 'wet room' which would allow you to use the toilet and shower in one go, but overall for the price you won't find a better deal. There is free... more

I stayed here for 3 nights in early May. The hotel is very well run with a friendly and helpul staff. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to Old Market, the Night Market, and Pub Street. I think i only paid $15 a night which was a steal for the overall experience. The hotel rooms were small... more

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Angkor Wat. For the price, this was a great place to stay. The room was small and basic, but it was just what we needed. Small mini-fridge and cable tv in room. Air-conditioning, which was a great relief. We had a double room ensuite, but they also had dorm rooms available. Short... more

We had a great stay at the Mandalay. What do you expect for $18 USD/night for a double with air-con? It exceeded our expectations. Free water refills from a cooler was a great perk and good for the environment (no little plastic bottles). Close to action in Siem Reap but not in the midst of the chaos. The tuk-tuk driver... more

For US$18/night, you can't get a better deal than this. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of Siem Reap town - which has a few streets with an excellent range of bars/restaurants, and some of the cheapest prices in SE Asia. This is a no frills hotel - but has all the bare essentials - bed, aircon (optional)... more
